Ruby has been in boarding almost 6 weeks, and in desperate need of a foster home. Ruby would preferrably need to be in a home with no other dogs.	Asia is a sweet, shy girl who is good with other dogs. Asia is heartworm positive and has been in boarding for 6-8 weeks. Please help.	Max is a sweet boy who needs a foster home. Max needs to be with other dogs his size. Can you help Max?
Marlon is good with other dogs and good with cats. This handsome boy needs a foster home. Please help Marlon.	Roxy & Judah are being surrendered due to foreclosure & divorce, and by no fault of their own. It's preferrable to keep them as a pair, but we can split them up for the right home. Please help.	Piper is an active, sweet boy who needs a playmate as active as he is. Piper is need of a foster home. Can you help???

Abbie Needs Your Help

Abbie is a gorgeous 8 month old girl (born 6.26.09) who was recently surrendered to an animal shelter in Virginia. She has already had surgery before coming to our rescue to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament, but it hasn't healed properly, probably due to not having her activity limited immediately after the surgery while she healed. She has developed arthritis in the knee and her tibia has rotated as a result. She now has limited range of motion in the leg, but she can have another surgery to help rotate the tibia back more in line with her femur and to clean some of the arthritis from her knee.

The estimated cost of surgery is $1200. Can you help Abbie to live pain-free again?

"Hearts for Titan" in Wilmington, NC

Every now and then you come across people whose hearts shine through so brightly and remind us that we're not alone in giving our time and efforts into saving these sweet lives. We'd like to send out a special thank you to Marybeth Hosier, Lynn Bryson, and future veterinarian Rebecca Reynolds for coordinating a neighborhood bake sale and fundraiser for Titan's medical bills. Despite snow and cold weather, they raised $1000 for our sweet Titan, all out of the goodness of their hearts. THANK YOU!
