Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Violet

On July 20th we had to say goodbye to our little dynamo on wheels. She was in pain and suffering so those closest to her surrounded her with love and she passed peacefully across the bridge. She was an amazing ambassador of the boxer spirit and was loved by all of those who met or even just heard about her. We will miss you Violet you were an inspiration and you will never be forgotten.

We love you Violet

Sonya

It is with a heavy heart that I let everyone know this sweet girl passed away this weekend. She lost her battle with Parvo. Sonya was loved before she left this earth and I can't tell you how sad I am that she has passed away. Thank you all so much for your prayers and donations! We will use donations for her medical care she received and if any funds are left over they will go directly to the dogs of BRBR

 Harmon

It is with great regret that we announce, Harmon has passed to the Rainbow Bridge. His foster mom could see he was suffering and decided to help him cross as his time had come. Harmon had several very happy days at the end and we are so glad he was able to pass surrounded by those that loved and cared for him the most. It is always a very hard decision to let one of our dogs go but it is always made easier when it brings the pain to an end for a sweet boy like Harmon. Thank you to all who contributed to help save Harmon.

Harmon you will be missed.

Callie

It is with a heavy heart we must announce that sweet Callie has crossed the bridge. She was loved by many in the short time she was with us. Rest peacefully and run free sweet Callie.
