There are many ways you can help Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue, Inc. save and care for homeless Boxers! You can volunteer your time and open your home to a homeless Boxer by applying to become a foster volunteer. You can volunteer your time to assist with transporation and homevisits (in your area) that are needed on a regular basis. We are in need of individuals to help with fundraising events as well if your time is limited. If you want to help, there are numerous ways to do so and each and every one is just as valuable as the next! It takes us ALL working together as a team to expand our efforts. By purchasing and wearing a BRBR T-Shirt, you are getting our name out there, and in the process; helping a Boxer find it's forever home! Remember, every donation adds up...and there are no "little" donations!

Our "NAME A BOXER" program is a unique and fun way to get involved in helping a needy Boxer. Most of the Boxers we have in rescue come from animal control facilities and shelters across North & South Carolina. A majority of those Boxers were picked up as strays and have no names. For a donation of $10.00, you can NAME A BOXER (as a memorial to a beloved pet...birthday gift for someone who has everything). The next Boxer that we pull without a name will be named in honor of your donation! We may then use your donation to pull Boxers from shelters, pay veterinary bills and much more. 100% of ALL donations go towards our veterinary expenses or pull fees (to spring a Boxer from the shelter).

Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Non-Profit Corporation. We are committed to the rescue and home placement of homeless Boxers. Our current coverage area is North Carolina (NC) as well as South Carolina (SC). Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue, Inc. is not affiliated with any other boxer rescue in the Carolinas. All of our rescued Boxers receive immediate medical care upon arrival into the rescue regardless of available funds. We rely strictly on donations to continue our efforts and our very grateful for the generous support we receive. All donations are tax-deductible. We have many loving Boxers to adopt! Our rescued Boxers are in foster homes in different areas of the state. We adopt to INDOOR homes only! No exceptions will be made. We require an adoption donation of $225, unless otherwise posted. The donation is non-refundable regardless of whether the dog is returned. The entire adoption donation of $225 helps fund the next Boxer we take into the rescue. Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue, Inc. is an entirely volunteer organization. Directors and Volunteers are NOT reimbursed for their time/long distance phone calls/gas/mileage, etc. Therefore, we ask that you be comletely sure you wish to adopt BEFORE submitting an online adoption application.
